Just listened to the latest podcast on my run this morning. Priceless…and to answer Anna’s question about the validity of the story Danny told about that day on the mountain and the lift breaking down, it is true.
I just took a bunch of YL kids to Utah for a snowboarding trip and told this exact story while we were up on a lift. I remember the ski patrol shooting lines over the lifts and thinking “there’s no F’ing way i’m climbing down from here.” I do not, however, remember leaving Danny in the dust to fend for himself but that does not mean it didn’t happen ;) Danny, I’m sorry that we did that to you. <3
Maybe we all need to head up to Snoqualmie together and take a "redemption run" on Thunderbird & cross over to Summit Central in glory…together.

Yeah I don’t even know if you guys had any idea just how bad I was so it’s not your fault. That would seriously be fun to meet up and go to Snoqualmie at some point. Anna’s pretty good and can probably keep up with you, and I’m very confident I can at least get down Thunderbird without unstrapping my board haha I need to redeem myself to that mountain.
That’d be a blast. Schep would probably be in some trouble cause I’m pretty sure he’s only been like 2 times since that day.
Man what a comeback it would be to be better than Schepman after seriously being the worst boarder on the mountain last time he saw me ride.
